Prevent abortion control - vote Republicans out.

That's the first step. If they manage to get these laws in place everywhere, then women will need to band together and create a network of access to safe abortions 'underground' until they CAN vote all these guys out. More women can run for office, replace these guys and overturn these anti-woman laws.

This isn't just about abortion in the instances of rape, incest, and the mother's health (or, in some places, a severely malformed embryo/fetus). And by harping on just these three instances, we are all allowing the Republicans the ability to leverage a severe restriction on our rights. Women have choice according to Roe v. Wade and anything less is an unacceptable infringement on women's privacy and rights to choose.

It should be remembered that 'right to choose' also allows a woman to carry a pregnancy if she wants to - even at the risk of her life. Some women view that embryo as being part of THEM, not the rapist. And they are entitled to carry that child when they feel that way. But they should never, ever, have to share that child with their abuser, their attacker, if they choose to bring that child into the world. Right now, however, those women risk being put in more danger, along iwth their child, in 31 states, if they carry the pregnancy to term. What idiots thought giving a rapist access to a child he brutally fathered was ever a good idea on any level?

There are countries where women are forced to have abortions if they have more than one child, or a FEMALE child. There are men and parents who force women to have abortions when they don't want them. THAT must be prosecuted every time it happens. And the courts need to start listening to women in these situations.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who creates a law that prevents a woman from doing whatever she has to to survive her rape or heal from that rape or live her life as she would have had she not been raped aids and abets rapists. And those who make those laws should be right in jail with the rapist.

The government does not recognize a fetus as a human being until it takes a breath for purposes of social safety net benefits. That is a fact. Anyone can look it up. So all this talk about fertilized eggs is bullsh!t.
